Brazilian Association of Shoe Manufacturers in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency organized ‘Francal’, the largest fair of shoes, fashion accessories, components and machinery of Latin America in São Paulo.

Focus of the programme was mainly to promote the brand Brazil’s footwear abroad.

From 26 August to 3 December, the exhibition ENTRY2006 in Essen will provide answers to these questions on the design of the 21st century. The exhibition will take place in the former coal washing plant, that was converted according to plans of Rem Koolhaas, on the grounds of the world heritage site Zollverein in Essen.
Five internationally acclaimed curators will be presenting over 300 objects from more than 20 countries. Alongside a look back at the pioneers of design and the history of today’s cult brands, the visions for tomorrow will be presented in five thematic areas: innovative products, materials and technologies, ideas an
