The (S) Files are 'selected' from proposals and files of artists who have submitted work to El Museo del Barrio for consideration. It features approximately 35 artists, with an average age of 34.

EMERGING ARTISTS at Holland Tunnel
Holland Tunnel presents ''Black %26 White'', a site specific installation of small works by local, national and international artists. The show will feature paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, photography and works in mixed media. This year's exhibition brings together a diverse collection of inventive works that boldly interact in the complete absence of color. The stark contrast of line, shape, and form are cast within the framework of an installation that makes full use of the unique interior space of the gallery.
